From the wheelhouse:

The resident (fish eating) orca arrived in Blackfish Sound this morning and 'put a smile on my face'.    The A30's arrived with great vocalization which always moves people who have been waiting all their lives to see the orca.  Seeing with your eyes and hearing with your ears live is "wonderful."   The whales were spread out but all nine whales in the A30 matriline were counted for.

Our guests enjoyed not only the calm waters and sunshine but also observed the whales tail slapping, belly rolls and the vocals.   We also saw Dall's porposie, habour seals and a plethora of sea birds.

Captain Wayne's quote of the day:

"If money gets any tighter it'll soon be as hard to get into debt as to get out of it." Anon.
