From the Wheelhouse:
As June comes to an end we are seeing a lot of birds that have been nesting on the small islands near Telegraph Cove start to have their young. In this picture the Black Oyster Catcher stands guard over her eggs. We've also seen adult eagles feeding their chicks in the nest, so hopefully soon the chicks will pop their heads over the top for a good look!
The weather today was a little stormy but our guests from all over the world braved the wind and light rain to enjoy the scenery and also experience the 'stinky' Minke whale as it did big circles around the M.V. Lukwa. The Dall's porpoise were very active with bow riding and we were fortunate to have a great viewing time with two humpback whales. Lots of long dives but some good tail flukes too
