From the Wheelhouse:

Oh my, what a day! We observed the most amazing event I have ever seen in my life today!  The humpback whale 'KC' was surfing in the wake of a cruise ship.  The whale surfed from side to side and then breached FULL out of the water   I am still catching my breath!

This morning and this afternoon we had a large group of very active Dall's porpoise bow-riding the Gikumi.  Lots of photo opportunity today.  Harbour seals, a Steller sea lion, and lots of eagles rounded out a perfect day on the water.
