From the Wheelhouse:

The M.V. Lukwa and crew gave a big welcome to Brian Fisher and his award winning science project on bioaccumulation in killer whales on this morning's tour.   Brian shared his research with our guests and crew.  His project has been donated to the Whale Interpretive Centre, so come on down and have a look.

Captain Wayne has probably got the photo of the year today   'KC' the humpback whale came out of the water in a full breach three times in a row.  Absolutley amazing! As one young man stated the captain got the shot and the naturalist was screaming!    Even though we missed seeing orca today no one was disappointed with the humpback activity, the very active bow-riding Dall's porpoise, Steller sea lions and harbour seals.  Our seabirds have been great too....
