From the Wheelhouse:
What an incredible day on the water today!
Orcas, humpback, Pacific white-sided dolphins, Dall's porpoise and more
We had the A8's; A23's; A11's; and G 17's....happy guests on both boats today. Thanks to Robert Rosenthal from California for the great photos.
The orcas had a good rub in the Robson Bight Ecological Reserve and then came out into Johnstone Strait. Our guests observed high speed travelling; heard awesome sound and echolocation. G40, a big male executed an astounding full breach out of the water! To complete the day we had three humpback whales travelling together. Some great tail flukes! ![]()
Captain Waynes quote of the day:
"The word booze was thought to have been brought into everyday language by sailors....it comes from the Dutch buizen (which means to drink to exess)."
