From the Wheelhouse:
This morning the C6 and C10 matrilines of fish-eating killer whales (Residents) came into the area. By the afternoon the A12's travelled at high speed to catch up with the C6's and C10's.
They joined in a huge line with so many whales we think the A8's and A23's may have joined with them as well!
We also had a humpback whale, Steller sea lions, Dall's porpoise and a few Pacific white-sided dolphlins in among the resident orca.
