From the Wheelhouse:

Today was a really 'green day' for both tours!  We left the dock and three minutes later put down the hydrophones and had amazing whale vocalizations!   The weather was not wonderful but that didn't dampen the spirits of our guests.  IT was a fabulous whale day!   We encountered the I35's; A30's for a total of 8 orcas...

We also encountered Steller sea lions and harbour seals and had a long distance look at Dall's porpoise.  The seabirds have been great especially with the big tidal exchanges.  On our way back to Telegraph Cove we had a really good look at the baby eagles at the Plumper Island eagles nest.

Captain Wayne's quote of the day:

"Its amazing how many folks will agree with you if you keep your mouth shut." Old Amos
