From the Wheelhouse:

A nice to end to August, with lots of sunshine and lots of whales.  Humpbacks and orcas....A30's; A24's; A23's; A8's and 3 humpback whales.  Lots of high speed travel today - all the way down to Robson Bight and then high tail it back to Telegraph Cove in the afternoon.

Along with the high speed travel we observed some porpoising and we also had wonderful vocals.  The Steller sea lions keep increasing in number by the day and today there must have been 100 plus on the rocks.  Dall's porpoise at a distance, harbour seals and lots of sea birds.  A great end to the month!

Captain Wayne's quote of the day:

"We cannot hold a torch to light another's path without brightening our own."  Ben Sweetland
